Explanation
(This amendment removes $200,000 from the general fund each year which was added by the 2014 General Assembly in lieu of the use of the $18.0 million Abbott settlement fund for training purposes. Senate Bill 1360 provides for the use of up to six percent of the settlement fund each year, with the $18.0 million corpus of the fund to be managed by the Virginia Retirement System. This amendment is contingent upon final passage of Senate Bill 1360.)
