Explanation
(This amendment provides $100,000 GF each year to convert two additional members of the Parole Board from part-time to full-time status. Currently, only two members of the five-member board are full-time. With this amendment, four of the five members of the board will be full-time.)

Notwithstanding the provisions of § 53.1-135, Code of Virginia, the Parole Board shall consist of a chairman and vice-chairman, who shall be full-time state employees and designated by the Governor, and three members, who shall be part-time state employees and designated by the Governor.
