Explanation
(This amendment makes a technical correction to reflect a savings strategy that was placed in the incorrect item in the second year. Specifically, this amendment reduces the general fund appropriation in Item 84, Marketing Research service area (53205), by $9,883 to properly reflect the savings strategy affecting the Agricultural Statistics Service program. A companion amendment restores the general fund appropriation to Item 87, Consumer Affairs-Regulation and Consumer Education service area (55001), from which this savings strategy is accounted for in Senate Bill 800. The two amendments net to zero.)
