A. Out of this appropriation, $1,883,112 from the general fund and $14,350,000 from nongeneral funds the first year and $1,601,121 from the general fund and $14,350,000 from nongeneral funds the second year is designated to build research capacity in the areas of bioengineering and regenerative medicinebiosciences.
B. Out of this appropriation, $938,000 the first year and $881,720 the second year from the general fund is designated for the support of cancer research.
C. The Higher Education Operating fund source listed in this Item is considered to be a sum sufficient appropriation, which is an estimate of funding required by the university to cover sponsored program operations.
