Page 196, after line 49, insert:
"L.  The Department of Medical Assistance Services is directed to develop enrollment and retention provisions, consistent with those outlined in Section 104 of the Children’s Health Insurance Program Reauthorization Act of 2009, P.L. 111-3, and implement provisions determined to be budget neutral,  cost effective or that would lead to an award of a CHIP performance bonus."

(This language amendment, submitted by the Joint Commission on Health Care, requires the Department to develop budget-neutral, cost-effective enrollment and retention provisions consistent with federal law that may lead to a performance bonus under the Children's Health Insurance Program.)
