Page 209, after line 23, insert:
"XXX.  The Department of Medical Assistance Services shall amend the State Plan for Medical Assistance to decrease the dispensing fee paid to pharmacists from $3.75 to $3.50 per prescription per month.  Such amendments to the State Plan shall become effective July 1, 2011.  If there is an extension through June 30, 2011 of increased Federal Medical Assistance Percentage under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (P.L. 111-5), the reduction in this paragraph shall not become effective.”


Explanation
(This amendment reduces the dispensing fee paid to pharmacists by $0.25 effective July 1, 2011. Language is added to restore funding if Congress passes a six-month extension of increased Federal Medical Assistance Percentage (FMAP) through June 30, 2011.)
