Explanation
(This amendment removes funding for the Virginia Commission on Youth pursuant to House Bill 1053, 2010 Session of the General Assembly, which proposes to transfer responsibility for staffing the Youth Commission, the Crime Commission, and the Joint Commission on Health Care to the Division of Legislative Services. Companion amendments are included in Items 6, 11, and 18. The net savings from this proposal is estimated at $1.9 million from the general fund over the biennium.)
