Explanation
(This amendment restores $1.2 million to the general fund and $1.2 million to the nongeneral fund the first year and $1.3 million to the general fund and $1.3 million to the nongeneral fund from federal Medicaid matching funds the second year to restore 50 percent of payments to out-of-state hospitals that fail to meet a threshold of 12 percent of Virginia residents from the Medicaid caseloads to qualify for additional disproportionate share hospital (DSH) payments.)
