Explanation
(This amendment restores $430,950 from the general fund and $543,830 from the nongeneral fund the first year from federal Medicaid matching funds to delay a proposal to eliminate Medicaid coverage of podiatry services that was included in the introduced budget. Language is added to restore funding the second year if Congress passes a 6-month extension of increased Federal Medical Assistance Percentage (FMAP) through June 30, 2011. Language is also added requiring the Department to evaluate the impact on other Medicaid services of eliminating coverage of podiatry services.)
