Explanation
(This amendment provides funding to Prevent Blindness Mid-Atlantic (PBMA), a volunteer-based statewide organization whose sole purpose is to prevent blindness and preserve sight. Funding will allow PBMA to supplement the Certified Children's Vision Screening Program and provide vision screens for all new Virginia school children at an average cost of $1.00 per child.)
