Explanation
(This amendment provides $6.9 million each year from the general fund to provide $4.5 million in annual grants to local law-enforcement agencies that agree to work closely with the Northern Virginia-Washington, D.C., Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force or the Bedford County Sheriff's Office Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, to provide $1.9 million annually to expand the current efforts of the Bedford County Sheriff's Office to reduce internet-based crimes against children, and to provide $500,000 in annual funding for the delivery of school-based Internet safety education programs to children, parents, and teachers.)
