Explanation
(This amendment adds language to continue the current exemption of behavioral health medications from the Medicaid Preferred Drug List. Funding is also restored that was reduced in the introduced budget from the estimated savings of including these medications in the Medicaid Preferred Drug List program. Additional pharmacy productivity initiatives of the Department of Medical Assistance Services could offset the cost of restoring this exemption, thus requiring no additional funding for the 2008-10 biennium.)
