Explanation
(This amendment provides funding for a ten percent increase in personal care and skilled nursing services provided under Medicaid community-based waiver programs in each year beginning in fiscal year 2009. Language is added to direct that these rates will be increased by 10 percent annually over a 4-year period. Language is also added to provide an annual inflationary increase based on changes in the home health care market index in subsequent years.)
