(This amendment requests general funds to support implementation of House Bill 117 which establishes the Community College Scholarship Match Program. The program provides matching funds to community college foundations and the Virginia Foundation for Community College Education on the basis of one dollar of general fund for every one dollar donated by private individuals, foundations, or corporations beginning July 1, 2008. The funds will be used to award scholarships to community college students.)
