Explanation
(This amendment requests $50,000 the first year and $40,000 the second year from the general fund in additional funding for the Virginia State Crime Commission. The funding is needed to a) fund increase rental cost for office space due to a relocation, b) fund $10,000 in one-time relocation expenses in fiscal year 2009, and c) to fund operations that have been funded through grants. The amount of grant funding available to the commission has been decreasing recently.)
