Explanation
(This amendment provides $6.3 million from the general fund in the second year to increase the number of home-delivered meals provided to the frail elderly by local Area Agencies on Aging. It is estimated that this funding will provide approximately 121,500 additional home-delivered meals each month, the waiting list need as of 2004.)
