Explanation
(This amendment implements the provisions of Senate Bill 1132 (2007 Session) to transfer the Office of the State Fire Marshal from the Department of Housing and Community Development to the Department of Fire Programs. A companion amendment to Item 400 appropriates the funding of $2.3 million GF and $463,951 NGF and 36.0 FTE positions to the Department of Fire Programs. This amendment is contingent upon final passage of SB 1132.)
