Explanation
(This amendment provides $200,000 from the general fund to support the eradication of Hydrilla on Lake Gaston, the Potomac River and other bodies of water. This invasive plant species interferes with recreation, destroys fish and wildlife habitats, and can severely degrade water delivery systems.)
