Page 291, after line 37, insert:
"M.  Out of this appropriation, $52,605 the second year from the general fund shall be provided to Pittsylvania County to increase the pool of funds available for non-mandated children and youth.
N.  The State Executive Council shall examine and report on the current allocation, adequacy and equity of the funding allocations for mandated and non-mandated services to children served through the Comprehensive Services for At-Risk Youth and Families program.  The council shall recommend any changes necessary, including additional funding, to eliminate gaps in the current allocation formula.  The final report shall be delivered to the Chairmen of the House Appropriations and Senate Finance Committees no later than October 31, 2007.”


Explanation
(This amendment provides funding to boost the current CSA allocation for Pittsylvania County from $47,395 each year to $100,000 and requires the State Executive Council to examine and report on the adequacy and equity of current funding for services to children who are considered mandated and non-mandated cases.)
