Page 79, after line 38,insert:
"E. Health insurance coverage for state employees shall not allow denial of coverage or reimbursement for solid compensator based intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) as a treatment strategy for breast cancer, lung cancer and other solid tumors in situations in which (i) important dose limiting structures adjacent to, but outside the planning target volume (ptv)  are sufficiently close to require IMRT to assure for safety and morbidity reduction, or (ii) an immediately adjacent volume (GTV) margins are concave or convex and in close proximity to critical structures that must be protected to avoid unacceptable morbidity, or (iii) only IMRT techniques would decrease the probability of grade 2 or grade 3 radiation toxicity as compared to conventional radiation in greater than 15 percent of irradiated similar cases."

(This amendment requires the state employee health insurance programs to cover a certain type of radiation therapy fir breast and lung cancer in specific circumstances.)
