"Out of this appropriation, $1,428,000 the second year from the general fund shall be earmarked for  salary adjustments for employees of the magistrate system.  These funds, as well as the portion of the funds included in central appropriations for salary increases for judicial employees, shall be used to fund a total salary increase of ten percent for judicial staff effective November 25, 2007.

Explanation
(This amendment provides funding for a salary increase for employees in the magistrate system. The funding included in this amendment in addition to the portion of the funding included in central appropriations that will be allocated to the magistrate system for the November 2007 salary increase is sufficient to provide a total salary increase of ten percent effective November 25, 2007).
