Explanation
(This amendment provides for the use of interest on the balances maintained in the Water Quality Improvement Fund to modernize the analysis, reporting, and data management system used by soil and water conservation districts to implement the Agricultural Best Management Practices Cost-Share Assistance Program, which was established to reduce nonpoint source pollution through the voluntary implementation of conservation management practices by farmers, other land owners, and local governments.)
