Page 350, after line 32, insert:
"FF.  Out of this appropriation, $2,100,000 the second year from the general fund shall be provided to develop and implement a two-year pilot program for the provision of specialized geriatric mental health care services. The pilot program shall be located in the City of Alexandria and the Counties of Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William, pursuant to House Bill 2636."

(This amendment provides $2.1 million from the general fund in the second year for a two-year pilot geriatric services program in Northern Virginia, pursuant to House Bill 2636. The pilot would provide (i) specialized geriatric mental health services to 510 at risk older adults with serious mental illness in the community each year, (ii) consultation and training to 25 long-term care facilities, assisted living facilities, and other group settings housing older adults in Northern Virginia, and (iii) intensive geriatric mental health services to 60 older adults with serious mental illness residing in one nursing home or one assisted living facility. The pilot program would begin operating on January 1, 2008.)
