Explanation
(This amendment provides $30,000 from the general fund the second year for the General Code Commission to reinstate the Virginia Administrative Law Advisory Committee (ALAC). The ALAC was first established in 1994, however a moratorium was placed on the ALAC in December of 2002 due to budget shortfalls in the 2002-2004 biennium budget. The Code Commission has unanimously agreed to request funding to reinstate the committee.)
