Explanation
(This amendment provides $283,197 the second year from the general fund to Richmond City school division for a two component drop-out prevention program. The first component, costing $121,197, consists of a comprehensive district-wide anti-bullying initiative. The second component, costing $162,000, consists of assigning Richmond Sheriff Deputies and school based staff to school buildings to monitor the metal detectors that the students must walk through as they enter the buildings.)
