Explanation
(This amendment provides $50,000 the second year in nongeneral funds to assist in the conversion of the Smith Mountain Lake navigation system to U.S. Coast Guard standards. The source of the nongeneral funds is the Department of Game and Inland Fisheries' proceeds from the watercraft and sales use tax, which are increasing $400,000 the first year and $2.4 million the second year.)
