Explanation
(This amendment transfers $183,026 from the general fund and $456,114 from nongeneral funds and 2.0 full-time equivalent positions in the second year from the Department of Health to the Department of Environmental Quality for the permitting, compliance assessment, and enforcement of Virginia's laws and regulations on the application of biosolids, pursuant to House Bill 2802. House Bill 2802 transfers these responsibilities to the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ). A companion amendment in Item 361 provides this funding and the positions to the DEQ.)
