Explanation
(This amendment provides $400,000 GF to match appropriations made by North Carolina to treat Hydrilla and other noxious weeds infesting Lake Gaston. The federal government and Virginia Beach have appropriated $495,000 and $200,000, respectively, for this effort. Five other affected counties in Virginia and North Carolina have contributed $40,000 for the control project.)
