Explanation
(This amendment adds funding and language to increase Medicaid physician payment rates for children's services up to 85 percent of the Medicare payment rate on July 1, 2006. The introduced budget included funding to increase physician payment rates by 3 percent effective July 1, 2007; this amendment does not change the effective date for the rate increase for non-pediatric services.)
