Explanation
(This amendment provides $200,000 in nongeneral funds each year for the creation of a National Center for Sensor Science and Technology through the Hampton Roads Technology Council (HRTC). The HRTC currently leads an active regional group of interested parties, which includes Siemens Automotive, Luna Innovations, Oceana Senors, The College of William and Mary, Old Dominion University, Eastern Virginia Medical School, Norfolk State University, NASA Langley Research Center, Jefferson Labs and the Joint Forces Command.)
