Explanation
(This amendment provides $382,350 the first year and $402,000 the second year from the general fund to support four new positions that will provide additional outreach and services to community college transfer students. The College will use these funds to increase its recruitment efforts at the VCCS, expand its course offerings to provide a "University Seminar" experience for transfer students, and strengthen its orientation, advising, and assessment of transfer students.)
