(This amendment provides $200,000 the first year from the general fund to the State Board of Elections for the costs of providing information about the constitutional amendments that may be placed before voters at the 2006 general election. The Code of Virginia requires that the State Board of Elections advertise any constitutional amendment placed before the voters in newspapers of general circulation as well as publish brochures and informational posters for use in general registrars' offices and at polling places.)
