Page 368, line 34, after "program.", insert:
"No funds shall be expended by the Department of Aviation for the purchase of a new aircraft until 45 days following such time as the Department has provided a report to the Chairmen of the House Appropriations and Senate Finance Committees of the General Assembly detailing the following:  1) miles flown by the state fleet by airport; 2) a listing of which airports in the Commonwealth cannot be serviced by jets, and what share of state fleet travel is to such airports; 3) an analysis of the relative maintenance costs of the aircraft owned and proposed to be purchased on a per-hour basis; and 4) a cost-benefit evaluation of purchasing an additional jet or an additional propeller-driven aircraft."
