(This amendment provides $128,325 the first year from the general fund to the Department of Taxation to provide for the development of forms and software modifications necessary to capture information about Virginians' use of the earned income tax credit. According to a JLARC report, about 66,000 Virginians may be foregoing $175 million in federal earned income tax credit benefits.)
