Explanation
(This amendment funds the New College Institute in a proportional manner with similar higher education center entities throughout the Commonwealth. In addition, the budget provides additional funds to create a Visiting Faculty Program in collaboration with the University of Virginia, Radford University and Longwood University to deliver key programs to the region in the areas of computer science, technology, nursing and teacher education.)
