"VVV.  Effective July 1, 2005, the Department shall amend the State Plan for Medical Assistance governing Medicaid physician reimbursements to raise payments for physician services provided to Medicaid trauma patients.  Such payments may take the form of trauma activation fee payments or other methods, provided that they reflect the volume, complexity and acuity of services provided by physicians treating Medicaid covered trauma registry patients."
