Page 375, after line 39, insert:
"C.  The Department of Game and Inland Fisheries shall report on the Black Bear Damage Programs in other states, which may have application to Virginia's Black Bear Management Program.  The Department is further directed to review the policies of federal land management agencies within the Commonwealth which may impact Virginia's ability to manage the resident Black Bear population and associated damage.  This information shall be made available to the General Assembly by December 1, 2005."

Explanation
(This amendment requires the agency to report on other states' Black Bear management programs and to work with relevant federal agencies owning land in the Commonwealth to review the impact of federal policies on Virginia's management program.)
