Explanation(This amendment provides $100,000 from the general fund in the second year to the Special Olympics of Virginia, Inc. Special Olympics has been included in the non-state agency budget for six of the last eight years. None of the funds are used for the overhead expenses and all of the funds are utilized to assist mentally retarded youth in Virginia to participate in sporting activities across Virginia.)
