"BBB.  Effective July 1, 2004, the Department of Medical Assistance Services shall amend the State Plan for Medical Assistance to increase the income eligibility for aged and disabled individuals, as described in Section 1902(m) of the Social Security Ace (42 USC§1396a(m)), from 80 percent to 100 percent of the federal poverty income level."

Explanation
(This amendment raises the income eligibility criteria for aged and disabled individuals receiving Medicaid services, from 80 percent to 100 percent of the federal poverty level, as permitted under federal law. This will enable these individuals to obtain Medicaid coverage primarily for pharmacy and transportation services, since many of these individuals have Medicare coverage for hospital and outpatient services.)
