Explanation
(This amendment provides $250,000 to support a feature length documentary film on the history of the public schools crisis, 1951-1964, and its aftermath, in Prince Edward County, Virginia. Prince Edward County was one of the five locales named in the historic Brown v. Board of Education Supreme Court case. The production goal is a release and distribution of the film to complement the 50th anniversary of the Court's decision.)
