"Out of the amounts for Financial Assistance for Cultural and Artistic Affairs, $144,000 the first year from the general fund is provided to the Richmond Area Association for Retarded Citizens for Camp Baker."

Explanation
(This amendment provides a $144,000 general fund grant the first year to the Richmond Area Association for Retarded Citizens to improve the roadways and parking areas surrounding Camp Baker, a 22.5-acre support facility for teens and adults with developmental disabilities. Camp Baker provides summer camps, weekend respites, after school care and summer day care, and adult day support services year-round. During calendar year 2002, the facility served 465 children, teens, and adults. The roadway and parking area upgrades will improve the accessibility and safety of the facility for camp users.)
