Explanation
(This amendment will increase funding to all Regional Alternative Education Programs by 25 percent in fiscal year 2005 and fiscal year 2006 in order to offer additional support to participating localities by providing funds to expand the total number of student slots at these sites for the purposes of educating certain expelled students, and as appropriate, students who have received suspensions from public schools, and students returned to the community from the Department of Juvenile Justice.)
