A. Contingent upon the renovation of the Finance Building and the construction of an addition to that building, the Secretary of Administration shall develop a plan for the eventual demolition of the Eighth Street Office Building, including how employees working in that building will be relocated to other properties at the seat of government.
B. The Secretary of Administration shall develop plans for the disposition of the Staunton Correctional Center property and for the development of an alternative source of steam and hot water for the Virginia School for the Deaf and the Blind at Staunton. The Secretary of Administration shall consult with the Secretary of Commerce and Trade and with the City of Staunton as to the potential reuse of this property. The plan shall be presented to the Governor and the Chairmen of the Senate Finance and House Appropriations Committees by November 1, 2002.
