Explanation
(This amendment provides $12,730,000 in VCBA bond funds for the construction of a 68,600 square foot Biological, Fisheries, and Physical Sciences Building. This building would replace Brooke and Davis Halls which would be demolished. The demolition funding is included in this amendment. Higher Education Operating funds of $4,072,000 for this request would be raised from private funds and would be used to add a floor for program expansion. Planning funds were provided by the 2000 General Assembly for this project. This project is one of a limited number of new capital outlay projects recommended for funding.)
