Explanation
(This amendment restores the FY 2001 appropriation for Aid to Localities with Police Departments (House Bill 599 of 1979) to the level approved during the 2000 Session, by adding $1,524,972 the first year from the general fund. The second year amount is calculated from the actual FY 2000 payment, advanced by the projected growth rate of 3.8 percent in FY 2001 and 6.9 percent in FY 2001. The reduction results from the fact that the current year's growth rate has been lowered to 3.8 percent.)
