"Any unexpended general fund balances remaining in this Item on June 30, 2001, that are directly related to developing a statewide water supply planning initiative or to sponsoring water research shall be reappropriated."

Explanation
(This amendment authorizes a one-year carry forward of unexpended general fund balances that are directly related to the initiative approved by the 2000 Session to develop a statewide water supply planning initiative and to increase water research.)
