Page 327, line 46, after "act.", insert "No appropriations reductions distributed from this item shall result in a decrease in the amount or quality of services.  General fund appropriations are provided in the amount of $1,000,000 the first year and $1,000,000 the second year for atypical medications, and $500,000 the first year and $500,000 the second year for mental health services for children, to eliminate proposed reductions included in Senate Bill 800 of the 2001 Session, as introduced.  Funding for atypical medications and children's mental health services shall not be reduced below the level provided in Chapter 1073 of the 2000 Session."


Explanation
(This amendment prohibits "management savings" in the introduced budget to be applied in ways that would adversely affect agency services. Also, proposed cuts in funding for atypical medications and children's mental health services are fully restored.)
