Page 307, after line 48, insert:
"C. The Department of Medical Assistance Services shall monitor the implementation and impact of FAMIS monthly premiums, including but not limited to, the effect of premiums on enrollment, disenrollment, and re-enrollment, and the administrative costs of collecting and enforcing premium payments.  The Department shall make quarterly reports to the Chairmen of the Senate Finance and House Appropriations Committees, and the Joint Commission on Health Care on the impact of premium payments, after monthly premiums have been implemented."


Explanation
(This amendment requires the Department of Medical Assistance Services to monitor the impacts of premiums for the new child health insurance program.)
