Explanation
(This amendment funds the fiscal impact of House Bill 2260, which requires the Commonwealth to pass through the state share of child support collections for recipients of Temporary Assistance to Needy Families. Currently, these collections are retained for reimbursement of public assistance paid to these families. A companion amendment in Item 379 provides funding to replace the costs associated with adapting information systems to pass through the collections, and other administrative costs.)
