Explanation
(This amendment provides funding to Blue Ridge Community Services to continue a public inebriate program in cooperation with the Roanoke City Sheriff's Office. Funding will maintain two staff positions, a clinician and a deputy sheriff which are currently funded through a federal grant which will expire at the end of fiscal year 2001. Nongeneral funds would be provided from the federal substance abuse services block grant.)
